Chapeau!, this little French bistro is one of our favorite restaurants in San Francisco. We love it so much that one time we went there seven or eight times within a three-month period!! For special occasions, out-of-town guests and get-together party, we always go to Chapeau!

The restaurant is located in the Richmond District neighborhood in San Francisco. The food and the service are excellent and the price is very reasonable, especially its Early Bird “Prix Fix” menu.

Chapeau! is always packed whether it is weekday or weekend so reservation is highly recommended. If you are looking for a place to have a quiet and romantic dinner, Chapeau! is not the place for you because it is a casual dining restaurant so it can be very noisy.

The place is not very big and it can be pretty cramped when the restaurant is fully packed. The French music is played in the background and that really makes me feel like I'm in Paris!

The Early Bird Prix Fix Dinner Menu

The Early Bird Prix Fix dinner is offered on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday from 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm.

Appetizer -- Duo of Salmon

Appetizer -- Roasted Kabocha Squash Soup

Appetizer -- Warm Brie

Complimentary from the owners

Entree -- Bacon Wrapped Natural Pork Tenderloin

The meat was so juicy and tender, and it tasted so good with the chestnut puree

Entree -- Hickory Smoked & Pan Seared Atlantic Salmon
